Geri has been a collector of unusual art objects for over 40 years. She has enjoyed shopping the world over, having lived in Europe in the 70’s while attending university in Germany, and since then has traveled extensively to Russia, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, India, Australia and Southern Asia. She lived in Hong Kong in the late 90’s and in Shanghai from 2004 to 2008.

She has studied art, taking lessons in oil and watercolor from several renowned artists and began designing jewelry while living in Hong Kong and later in Shanghai. In her quest to discover beautiful treasures to share with family, friends and customers, Geri traveled to Jingdezhen, the "ceramic capital of the world".

Now Geri is taking this love of "all things beautiful" - jewelry, art, ceramics - and bringing it directly to you through MEI LEI, which means "beautiful" in Mandarin.
